I was doing Slimming World for around 4 months and lost a total of 13.3lbs which is amazing but so slow. I was getting a little fed up with losing 0.4lbs a week as we are going on holiday in September and I want to not look like a blancmange in a bikini wobbling around the beach.
So on the 24th April 2018 i rejoined Weight Watchers, I have done it previously and lost weight but stopped as we were moving house and all the stress (insert other excuses here).
My first week was awesome, I lost 3lbs and was over the moon, week 2 weigh day is today and I lost 1lb, again super happy. If I can continue on this path of averaging 2lb a week then I am on track to smash the arse out of my target by the time we leave for holiday which is in 17 weeks, in fact i’ll be a little under target which will give me some wiggle room to eat all the greek cheese and all the delicous beer whilst we are there.
I think this time feels different, this is the most weight i have ever lost in one “diet cycle” if that makes sense. I really feel like now is the time for me to lose weight once and for all and to go back to being the old me again. I’m gonna be brave and post my actual weight and losses as a motivator for me to not slip up and fall into the biscuit barrel so to speak.
My starting weight on the 10th January 2018 was 183.8lbs . This number makes me feel so embarressed about how I was eating and living, I am only 5ft 2 so looked like a barrel. My goal weight is 140lbs and my current weight as of this morning is 166.8lbs.
I will be posting recipes and weightloss progress pictures in the blog and am aiming to post daily if time and toddlers allow.
