I was contacted by JewlyBox asking me if I would be interested in receiving one of their boxes and doing a review, I said yes and did a full unboxing video which you can watch here.
The company is based in the states and the box is a monthly subscription service for statement jewellery. One of the selling points for me to want to work with them was that 5% of their profits are given to a women’s charity called dress for success, you can visit the site here https://dressforsuccess.org/
Standard – $29 for 3 pieces of jewellery (value up to $110)
Premium – $39 for 5 pieces. (value up to ($165)
They were kind enough to give me a discount code (LUCY15) for my subscribers which will get you $15 off your first box .
They ship worldwide.
Now all that is out of the way lets get into the good stuff, the box shipped in around a week from the states to the UK.
It arrived via royal mail in a medium-sized pink box that said hello gorgeous on the top, once opened i was greeted by this beautiful sight.
Pulling the ribbon open felt really expensive and lux, it reminded me of all the pictures ive seen of people opening Kim Kardashian West’s new perfume. Inside the box was a little booklet telling you about the box and then 3 little velour pouches in pastel colours, each containing a piece of jewellery.
In the first bag I opened there was a very long chained necklace that was crescent-shaped covered in black sparkly stones/beads. This is my favourite piece in this box, I think it would be beautiful with a simple black outfit to really emphasize how sparkly it is.
The next little bag contained a super cute bracelet with a pink tassel, this is beaded and really fun, definitely a statement item, i’ve had to hide it from the girls as they love the tassels so much.
My final item was a pair of earrings that I have worn all day and had so many compliments on them, they are super simple and something I know I will wear all the time.
When you sign up you are given a style quiz to let them know your preferences and if you want earrings or not.
Overall I think it is an awesome box and although shipping to the UK is quite pricey I would definitely do it as a one off for a friend’s birthday or Christmas.
Let me know of any other boxes you want me to try and I will look out for them.
